Hello there!

Welcome one, welcome all to em.olts!

em.olts is an online platform reviewing ladies’ fashion, products and food and is the brainchild of two young Singaporean women. We want to share our love for stellar ladies’ products, fashion, and food with others in Singapore. Our passion for these, combined with our love for writing and designing, led us to found em.olts on 10th October 2020. 

Our name is broken up into two parts – “olts” is an acronym for “one line, three squares” and stems from the layout and design of our Instagram page @em.olts. As for “em”, we would like to keep it secret. Just a little something that is personal to us, you know.

We are dedicated to curating authentic reviews of products, fashion, and food for Singaporean ladies (and their clueless boyfriends). 

Girls, are you sick of trawling through the internet, searching for reviews and information about potential products you would like to purchase? We’ve got you covered. Even if you can’t find a product or place on our blog, send us an enquiry and we’ll do our best to get and review it for you. 

Guys, please don’t worry. We got your backs. Unsure of what present to get your S.O.? Unsure of where to bring your S.O. for a date? We’ll ensure that each and every product and place is boyfriend-proof so that your S.O. will love you long long deep deep. 

Anyways, we stress greatly upon the authentic factor in our reviews – sponsored posts are generally genial and don’t highlight any negative portions of products or food. em.olts, however, pinky promises you that we’ll do our best to be truthful and real. Firstly, we’ll let you know if products were sent to us, or if we were sponsored food to review with the hashtag #SPxemolts on our social media platforms. We’ll also state in the beginning or at the end of the article if we were sponsored or not! Secondly, we’ll try our best to constructively compliment even if we do not personally like the products or food that were sponsored.

All in all, we hope that our reviews will save you the time and effort of digging through the gazillion pages of the internet in the hopes of finding more information about products, fashion and food you might be interested in trying. We also hope that our reviews will help products and businesses gain the rightful recognition that we feel they deserve. 

For the sake of clarity, our reviews will follow an overall five-star rating system. If we love something, we’ll give it five stars!
